Proficiency in English Language
According to the General Postgraduate Regulations:
Art. 50 – English will be considered as a mandatory language to satisfy the foreign language requirement for students whose native language is not English.
$ 3rd – The deadline for fulfilling this requirement cannot exceed the end of classes in the second period of the course, after entry, under penalty of dismissal. This deadline also applies to students who request to suspend their enrollment.
To achieve proficiency in English, exams carried out by federal educational institutions are accepted. In this sense, proficiency exams carried out by UFMG, UFSC, UFRN, among others, are accepted.
